When you run EditPlan for the firs time, it creates automatically several files and saves them in the following path of your hard disk: hard_disk:Users:user_name:Library:Preferences

The program creates the following files:

— Editplan.plist. This is the preferences file and saves information related to the position of the windows, colours and other settings. If you delete this file, EditPlan will continue working without any problem.

—fjrm_exportar. This file contains the export group defined in the application for the articles and contributors records expor. If you delete it, the program will continue working but you will lose the settings previously introduced for the data export.

—fjrm_ultimo. EditPlan uses this file to know what publication file to open automatically. This file corresponds to the publication file opened with EditPlan the last time you used the program. If you delete this file, the program will continue working without problem.

There is no limit in the size of a publication file, the only limit is your hard disk free space.

Nevertheless the information that EditPlan creates is optimized to use the minimum disk space.

For example, in our tests:

— The file with all the information of a publication for a complete year is only 500 kB.

This small size is perfect to save the file in any device, to send it by e-mail to your contributors and to use in several new features that will be available in future EditPlan releases.
